The University of King’s College Alumni Association is proud to announce the 2026 Alumni Award recipients, who will be honoured during Alumni Day on June 6, 2026.
This year’s recipients represent the very best of the King’s community through their achievements in journalism, research, leadership, service and dedication to the College.
Robert Cribb, BA(Hons)’89—award-winning investigative journalist, founder of the Investigative Journalism Bureau and professor of investigative reporting at the University of Toronto.
Cassandra Hayward, BA(Hons)’19—recognized for her innovative research in sustainability and energy use in food manufacturing at Sheffield Hallam University.
President William Lahey and Inglis Professor Stephen Kimber—honoured for their extraordinary contributions to the college and its future.
The awards will be presented on Saturday, June 6, 2026, during the Alumni Day 2026 brunch.
Each year, the Alumni Association awarded scholarships and bursaries to current King’s students. Returning students to are encouraged to apply through the Returning Student Scholarships application process.
Applications for the next round of Alumni Student Awards will open in winter 2027.
