Equity & Community Supports Office

The Equity & Community Supports Office exists to contribute to a campus culture where people are supported to thrive. We champion the university’s efforts related to reconciliation, equity, discrimination, accessibility, mental health and student well-being. We provide individual support that is confidential and supports the navigation and connection to additional resources if needed. We journey alongside individuals as they navigate challenges, transitions and moments of crisis. Our approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive and relational, ensuring people feel seen and supported. We lead the implementation of multiple strategies and policies that strengthen student well-being, equitable access, safety and community care. Our work bridges individual support and institutional responsibility, ensuring responsiveness to the lived experiences of our community.

Students play an important role in community supports at King’s.
